Fenaka Corporation Marks Disaster Risk Reduction Day with Comprehensive Emergency Preparedness Initiatives

In celebration of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Fenaka Corporation has launched a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness across its operations. With branches established in 151 islands throughout the Maldives, the company has developed and implemented robust emergency response protocols designed to equip employees with the knowledge and tools necessary to handle emergencies effectively.

The initiative, named "Tayyaaru" focuses on creating well-structured response teams and providing theoretical training for all staff members. These protocols detail specific actions to be taken in various emergency situations, ensuring a coordinated and efficient response.

As part of this comprehensive approach, Fenaka is prioritizing practical training sessions for employees, ensuring that every branch is equipped with the essential tools needed to manage emergencies. Discussions have commenced with the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) to facilitate hands-on training, with plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for ongoing collaboration in this area.

Fenaka Corporation is committed to ensuring that all power plants and reverse osmosis (RO) plants meet Utility Regulatory safety standards. This initiative represents a significant step towards creating a safer environment for both employees and the communities served by Fenaka.

Through the "Tayyaaru" initiative, Fenaka aims to foster a culture of preparedness and resilience, ensuring that all employees are ready to respond effectively to any emergency that may arise.
