Fenaka Institute for Training and Research has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with Maldives National Skills Development (MNSDA) to register the institute as a national trade testing center.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday 6th April 2022 while the event was officiated by the Maldives National Skills Development Authority CEO, Ahmed Nasheed. On the other hand, Ahmed Saeed Mohamed the Managing Director of FENAKA attended the MoU signing on behalf of the state-owned enterprise.
Under the MoU signed with MNSDA, graduates of Fenaka Institute for Training and Research will be able to receive the accredited certificates much more quickly upon course completion. Furthermore, this increases future development opportunities for Fenaka employees to build upon the knowledge they have gained from the institute’s courses.
The opportunities provided to Fenaka employees under the agreement are the foundation for their progress in the areas they need. In addition to providing opportunities for employees to pursue additional certificate level courses, all Fenaka employees will be qualified with adequate training, experience and certificates in the field of work.
Fenaka Institute for Training and Research was formed by Fenaka Corporation in October 2020. The institute specializes in developing dedicated and skilled professionals and awarding them with certificates upon course completion.
Fenaka Institute for Training and Research is Presently training Fenaka employees in National Certificate Level III of Electrical Installation and Maintenance with the Utility Regulatory Authority’s General House Wiring license awarded upon course completion. Moreover, the institute plans to organize courses such as National Certificate III in Sewerage System Operation and Maintenance, National Certificate III in Water Supply System Operation and Maintenance, National Certificate III in Utility Laboratory Technician Service.
