Fenaka Introduces Immediate Billing Services for Electricity Usage

Fenaka Corporation Limited has commenced providing electricity bills immediately to customers at the time of taking readings from meters in the customer households.

Fenaka launched this service at a ceremony held in GDh. Faresmaathoda on 13th November 2021. The ceremony was attended by MD of Fenaka Corporation Ahmed Saeed, Health Minister Ahmed Naseem, and Housing Minister Mohamed Aslam.

The immediate billing services are currently available in four southern atolls of the Maldives: Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, Gaafu Alifu Atoll, Fuvahmulah City and Addu City. This service will be introduced across the country by December this year.

With the introduction of this service, customers will receive bill details through their mobile application and can make the immediate payments through Fenaka’s Bill Pay application. In addition, the issues in the bills will be identified and resolved expeditiously. Furthermore, the bills taken via reading device are thermal printable and will reduce the cost of printing and carbon emissions significantly.

Fenaka’s achievements are linked to the use of modern facilities and advanced technology, which assists the employees to work more efficiently and saves time in providing the services to the customers.
