The construction of a brand new Fenaka office building at Raa Meedhoo commenced today.

The Ceremony was attended by officials of meedhoo council, government dignitaries, Fenaka Meedhoo branch employees and islanders. The foundation stone was laid by Fenaka Managing director Ahmed Saeed.

The New Office building consist of meeting room, a reception, lobby area, manager room, prayer room, rest room and a storeroom.

Speaking at the ceremony Fenaka’s Managing Director Ahmed Saeed Mohamed noted that Meedhoo’s power network upgrading project will be commenced later this year and also he added that works are currently ongoing to bring a 800kW generator to meedhoo to upgrade power capacity.

After the completion of the new office, the administrative works previously carried out in old Fenaka office of the island will be brought under the new office building. This will enable the company to provide more modern standardized and efficient service to customers.

The new office will be built according to the new architectural designs which will enable better working environments for Fenaka employees.

The building will also adhere to the health and safety standards of the company, which will assist in minimizing work related risks and hazards.
