Haa Dhaalu Atoll Kurinbi Received an additional 250 kW generator to strengthen the electricity capacity in the island.

The additional generator received by the island will enable the electricity services provided to be greatly improved and facilitate the provision of uninterrupted electricity services to the island with a population of more than 450 people.

Electricity in Kurinbi has been unstable with blackouts from time to time since the current generator is unable to meet the demand for electricity in the island.

The additional generator received today will be in use as soon as it is installed to the island's powerhouse.
