Fenaka operates rainwater purification systems in 16 islands. Out of these systems 8 systems are ultrafiltration (UF) units and the rest 8 are microfiltration (MF) units.
We now have the capacity to produce water to a total amount of 2808 tonnes per day, out of which 504 tonnes per day are through ultrafiltration and 2304 tonnes per day are through microfiltration.
Rainwater used for these systems is collected from the rooftops of communal buildings in the islands such as schools, police stations, and community centers. The water collected undergoes a rigorous cleaning and sterilizing process to ensure that the water produced is safe for potable use.
